CHALLENGES

Marathon Health is a widely regarded health organisation that serves rural and remote Australia with accessible healthcare.

Grindstone offered Marathon Health a comprehensive and highly competitive proposal that identified how we can provide a user-centric website, a highly specialised hybrid WordPress and SharePoint intranet, and an intuitive document library at a fraction of the price of other suppliers, but of exceptional quality.

Grindstone was challenged with just that – delivering on our promise of cutting-edge sites and platforms for Marathon Health whilst working to tight timelines, dealing with scope changes mid-project, and needing to carefully manage logistics. These challenges were conquered through collaboration and teamwork, and this is proven through the positive response from the public and employees to the hybrid intranet, website and document library.

STRATEGY

After conducting extensive research/discovery with Marathon Health stakeholders to understand their goals and vision, Grindstone developed information architectures for the hybrid intranet, document library and website that prioritised user-experience and accessibility.

We then conceptualised a cohesive and appealing set of designs with consideration to Marathon Health’s brand guidelines and applied these to all components of the project. It was crucial that we prioritised the security of sensitive information within the intranet and policy library to adhere to the healthcare regulations and data protection standards.

We designed and developed a state-of-the-art WordPress and SharePoint intranet that facilitates streamlined internal communication and connection amongst Marathon Health’s dedicated professionals. The document library has propelled best-practice compliance and governance in the organisation. Meanwhile, the creation of the dynamic and user-friendly website has not only attracted positive user engagement, but has also positioned Marathon Health as a leader in regional healthcare.
